For those who want to know a little about us...
We are a husband and wife team, whereas she does the editing and he does the translation. We both do some of the scanning. We're wholly unprofessional, but we try our best.
We used to live in the USA, more specifically northern NY State. However, in June 2002, we took the plunge and moved to Europe, more specifically Norway. So now we're living in Oslo. We've both studied Japanese for several years and obviously love manga and anime. We're both college graduates and work in the IT field doing various programming and web development. We like sensitive types and long walks on the beach... er... something like that...

About our translations...
We have chosen not to translate most sound effects, since most don't even have an English equivalent and since they usually are an integral part of the images. Very often, the appearance of the sound effect is as indicative as the sound itself. We do try to translate all text however. :)
We buy our manga mostly in New York City from Book-Off (Used manga store near Grand Central), Asahiya (Book store near Grand Central) and somtimes from Kinokuniya (Book store near Rockefeller Plaza). Given that there are 37 volumes of the Violinist of Hameln and 30+ issues of Hana Yori Dango, we have our work cut out for ourselves.
We're always happy to hear comments so feel free to drop us a note. Thanks for reading our translations and we hope you enjoy them! :)
